Tailored, small classes

With a maximum of three participants per class, our group classes are functional, goal-focused, and tailored to your individual needs. Classes are 55 minutes in duration and individualised in a way that allows you to improve your strength, control, flexibility, and balance no matter what your capabilities are.

Our clients learn more about their body and how to control their joint alignment and muscle activation patterns as they move than in any other class! It is this focus on learning to control your body that gets incredible, lasting results, and lets you move in ways you never thought you could.

For those looking for more one on one attention in private classes, we are now offering private one hour sessions that can be booked online.

Group classes need to be booked by contacting the clinic directly.

If you are pregnant please ensure you bring written confirmation from your doctor that it is safe for you to participate in an exercise class.

Class Assessment

All participants in group and private classes need to first have an assessment and be cleared to safely participate. This one hour assessment lets us assess a number of things including:

  • Your whole body alignment

  • Any injuries or underlying issues

  • The way you use your muscles and the order in which they turn on during movement

  • Your best core cue using an ultrasound

We perform an abdominal ultrasound on all clients before they begin our group classes or participate in clinical Pilates. This allows us to watch what happens when you activate your core muscles, look for any asymmetries in the way your muscles turn on, and take baseline measurements. We also look at your ability to activate your pelvic floor by watching your bladder lift and lower through an abdominal ultrasound. If you've recently had a baby we will also be assessing your abdominal separation via the ultrasound images.

This allows us to be sure you know how to engage your core before you start classes, and it gives us something we can look at down the track to measure improvements in the core muscles.

*Please note you do not have to have a full bladder for this ultrasound.
